Treasured Childhood Memories

My most impressive childhood memories are those connected to books, especially the endless bedtime story hours shared with parents.  Fond recollections of curling up on dad's lap and sharing a favorite book are especially treasured since dad passed away this last year.

Books remain my special friends! Even today as an adult, I keep myself surrounded by them and enjoy getting lost in my own world of imagination.  I was delighted to discover Barefoot Books because they reminded me so much of the beautiful books that were such an important part of my childhood.  Not mass produced, but carefully chosen to fit in with the Barefoot philosophy of encouraging imagination, creativity, independence of spirit and respect for cultures worldwide, they are a perfect addition to any child's library.
